Thrift shopping is the best way to be fashionable on a budget. As cheap as thrift shopping sounds it has its way around it. Below are lists of what you should look out for or bear in mind when next you’re shopping on a budget!
Quality of the fabric
That it’s cheap doesn’t mean you should buy just anything that will fold up soon. In fact, it’s the best chance to get quality clothes and with the small money of course!
Try your clothes on
This is tricky, honestly it happens to anyone, I mean these things are so hard to figure out sometimes- you see that dress that doesn’t fit but you just want it anyway, while slim fitting may help with bigger sizes if you have perfect sewing skills or maybe your tailor is damn good I do recommend not buying the cloth if you possess none of this as the cloth may sit in your closet forever until you have to painfully let it go and we all know how this makes us feel.
Check the cloth thoroughly
Check for any damage in the cloth – permanent stain, tear, button (unless it’s replaceable), accessories like beads or straps as some of these things can’t be replaced other than to either rock it that way or remove it completely with may reduce the beauty of the cloth.
It doesn’t have to be In fad
In fact, a trend is kinda boring and exhaustive cause I might have to leave the particular trend till it comes again-God knows when. So the best is to shop for yourself and not for the trend, buy what you feel fits your style, experiment with new things and if you feel comfortable with it, rock it, babe!
