For those who don’t know, Google Analytics is an amazing web application from Google that allows you to track and monitor your website traffic and the best part is that it’s completely free. Now, how can Google Analytics benefit you and your blog? If you aren’t set up with Google Analytics yet, I recommend you do so immediately after this blog post. It will completely revolutionise the way you look at your traffic and visitors.
It allows you to see your actual blog visitors, not fake clicks
The stats on your blogger stats page and those on your google analytics are always different, blogger being more because it also counts the clicks from fake sites and spam sites, these usually have in the URL or some strange words in them meanwhile Google Analytics counts only your actual views, the real thing.
You can view your specialised statistics over different time periods
It also allows you to see the unique views, page views, sessions, users, bounce rate and other specialised statistics by just clicking on what you want to see, over any time period you choose.
You can see real time users
There is a real-time option where you can see the number of visitors on your site at that moment in time and what they are reading and where they’re from.
You can see where your traffic is coming from
From the acquisition tab, you can monitor how people are getting to your blog. Through organic search, social networks, direct or referrals and also click through to see what sites are linking to your blog, the top keywords bringing visitors from search engines and the top social networks they come from.
You can see your website demographics
It gives you the demographics of your visitors in percentages based on gender, age, interests, etc.
In general, it helps you to monitor the incoming traffic, set goals, better tailor your blog to meet your audience and gather statistics that you can use for your media kit and when pitching to brands and clients and a lot of other useful tools. Signing up for Google Analytics is easy and free especially if you have a google account which I think almost everyone has these days. Just search google analytics, sign up and get started.

The Google Analytics allows only anyone who is above the age of eighteen years .Registration is offered as per the age one use to register for a Google Account.
Can you suggest any other application like Google Analytics which is reliable?
