Personal Life Update: Blogging, Work, University Life, Relationship

Hello lovelies,

After taking a poll on Instagram, many voted for me to do a life update especially the “curious ones” who want to know about my personal life/relationship life. I guessed many (some “amebo’s” = “being nosy” in Nigerian slang) noticed how I stay away from sharing personal life details on my social media. I mean, if it isn’t blogging or work-related, I try to keep my personal affair personal as much as possible, which is totally necessary for self-sanity.

Well, I will start with the most frequent question lately. What University do I attend and what course am I studying?. Well, I am guessing you already know but if aren’t aware. I have recently started my post-graduate degree and No, I won’t stop blogging. Funny how many somehow assumed I will stop blogging cos of that. I understand masters degree isn’t as easy as an undergraduate degree and trust me it is actual hectic than I thought but as you already know, blogging for me is more than an activity.

Anyways, to answer the questions above, for security reasons (you never know who is reading), I won’t state my University but if you know you know, sorry for those that don’t but it’s in England. I am currently studying MSc Entrepreneurship & International course (Combined course). How did I decide to study this course and what is it all about? Well, I wanted a course that can mainly focus on managing business generally but most especially gain skills in starting and managing my own business. One thing I know mostly is:

“In our age, we like to quickly call ourselves entrepreneurs. In fact, I think its like a “Trend” now. People see it as one of those cool things to add to their name/bio. Entrepreneurship is more than that and I strongly believe learning skill/gaining knowledge in entrepreneurship won’t only give you an edge on paper, it will  teach you the midset and give fundamental knowledge of how to think like one and actually be succesful at it both locally, nationally & internationally”.

So, yeah, the course covers all these areas which helped me with my decision making. The great thing about a PG degree is the fact that it’s really narrowed down to a particular area compared to UG degree which is a bit general/overview.

Someone asked if I am working to support my blogging finances and studies? Well, I live in the same city as my University, so I stay at home. For now, I don’t have a part-time job as I already have so much going on for me but I actually plan to get one soon cos “your girl is getting BROKE – LOL“. So, if you have a part-time job for me: Holla. For the meantime, I support my finances with collaborations from brands, sponsored posts, ads etc.

Finally, what everyone has been waiting for and want to know. Do I have a BF or am I in a relationship? Well, No [That isn’t an invitation for anyone to slide in the DM, thank you]. No, I am not single cos I am busy and “Don’t have time for a relationship” like some people will say.

“I believe you create time for anything you want, regardless of how busy you are”.

I believe when I meet the right person God has chosen for me, I will be in a relationship. And, for all those over nosy people who asked when will I get married? Well, I guess I will get married on my wedding day…hahaha

*Sigh* That was a long post. You guys see how I’m making effort to be really open with you all. So, please nobody should ask me if I have a BF anymore. Personally, I never ask people that type of question on social media. This is why I am always very shocked when people really feel comfortable to do so.
