These pieces were indeed ‘Love at first sight’ for me. I love the details and style. Very classic yet unique.
Let me save you my long apology for going MIA on the blog because it’s beginning to happen too often. Life happened and sincerely, I wish I could do better.
If you follow me on Instagram, You are probably aware I recently just moved and truly before moving, that was everything I could think of and work on. Getting a new home isn’t easy and cheap. Also, making it feel like “HOME” comes at a high cost both financially and mentally.

Valentine is fast approaching and I ask myself why I am already overwhelmed with all the reds and roses going on [Duhhh, I am also on that table]. I mean, can everyone chill for a minute. I, personally have a few questions to ask: Who even started Valentine’s day celebration, how did they decide on the colour red and why is it associated with love or February 14th? [
This is my first Valentine’s day celebration with the “status: In a relationship” in a long time, actually since 4/5 years ago and it’s great to know it will be celebrated with the same person from 4/5 years. Although, we are not in the same country or continent, so we won’t actually be “Celebrating”. Sincerely, I am not forced or bothered because I find Valentine’s day soooo cliche because love should be shown daily and you shouldn’t wait for a particular day to give your partner a significant gift to show how much you appreciate them.
Loving From A Distance: It wasn’t planned but somehow, I found myself in a long distance relationship. Guys, it is tough and sincerely, I don’t understand how people spend years apart from their other half. I keep telling myself this is the longest I will stay away from ‘Mr A’ in this life because life shouldn’t really be this tough, especially during this period when I feel like I am settled on my own, however, I still feel incomplete. Nevertheless, we will be seeing each other soon: count-down and I can’t keep my excitement because I know this long distance chronicle/struggle will vanish when we finally get-together. So, this year, we won’t be celebrating Valentine’s day/together. Rather than sending a long-love poem/letter/SMS, I think I will just send a long prayer to him straight from my heart. I personally believe there is power in praying for your partner or taking time out to pray for him/her cos their happiness and well-being will surely affect you too. So, that is my plan for Valentine’s day & that will be my gift to him this year! [+ We will both be at work anyways]
And please, if you are stepping out tomorrow, don’t be like this my “uncle and aunty” below [Wear other colours than red, if you can]:
