SHEIN REVIEW: FIRST-TIME SHOPPING EXPERIENCE AT SHEIN

I’ve never struggled with shopping like I have since I got to Canada. And, guess what? I’ve realized it wasn’t just me struggling because I see many people based in Canada talk about how it is such a big struggle to find a place to shop for lovely pieces in Canada. Especially with Summer approaching slowly.

So, I tried SHEIN for the first time ever last month. Let’s start with the user experience. The website is extremely busy. There is so much going on at the same time. Personally, I didn’t really enjoy that about navigating the website as I find it overwhelming. I would suggest you stay focused and remember what exactly you are looking for. Else, you might find yourself scrolling for hours without any result.

One other thing I didn’t enjoy was the delivery time. It took 16 days to get my package delivered to my front door without any delivery notice and updates. Waiting for a package for 16 days is a bit long for me especially because I am used to shopping from ASOS with next-day delivery. Also, keep a close eye on your order in transit as you might not get follow-up updates regarding the delivery after the confirmation one.

Finally, let’s talk about the things I love. The price was decent and pocket-friendly. Especially if you live in Canada and you are looking to shop for Summer. If you are looking for cute pieces without breaking the bank before the cold hits. Then, SHEIN is the website for you.

Trendy: They carry the trendiest pieces online if you are really into shopping for trendy pieces on a budget.

True people review: OMG, I love how you can see true people’s reviews under each item before placing your other. I find this really helpful especially as a first-time buyer. It really guided my decision and gave me so much confidence. This will also help you know if an item is true to size or not [I believe the item is true to size but I will advise you don’t apply the same judgment on every item.

Overall, I would rate my first-time experience 7/10. I would definitely be shopping there again especially because I don’t have to pay an extra duty fee [Yes, I know how great that is]. I love the pieces I got and the quality is around 7/10. Although, I think I would prefer to order everything I want at once to reduce waiting for 16 days every time.
